For the genre of early christian literature, see Acts of the Apostles(Genre)The Acts of the Apostles is a book of the Bible, which now stands fifth in the New Testament. It is commonly referred to as simply Acts. The title "Acts of the Apostles" (Greek Praxeis Apostolon) was first used by Irenaeus in the late second century, but some have suggested that the title "Acts" be interpreted as the "Acts of the Holy Spirit" or even the "Acts of Jesus", since 1:1 gives the impression that Acts is set forth as 'an account of what Jesus continued to do and teach', Christ himself being the principal actor.

Le récit des Actes des Apôtres, cinquième livre du Nouveau Testament, est la seconde partie de l’œuvre dédicacée à Théophile, la première partie étant l'Évangile selon Luc. Le récit débute avec l'Ascension suivie de la Pentecôte et relate les débuts de l'Église primitive qui se constitua autour des Apôtres à Jérusalem et se répandit ensuite en Judée, Galilée et Samarie et dans les communautés juives de la diaspora, avant de se séparer d'elles.

Die Apostelgeschichte des Lukas (lat. Actus Apostolorum, die Taten der Apostel, Abkürzung auf deutsch Apg.) ist ein Buch des Neuen Testaments der christlichen Bibel. Es wird seit dem Mittelalter in 28 Kapitel unterteilt. Im Griechischen ist der Titel Práxeis Apostolôn, das heißt Taten der Apostel, wobei im eigentlichen Sinne die Taten des heiligen Geistes durch die Apostel gemeint sind; in vielen anderen Sprachen hat das Buch einen Titel, der sich als Buch der Taten wiedergeben lässt, zum Beispiel auf Englisch: Book of Acts.

Dzieje Apostolskie - księga historyczna Nowego Testamentu. Opisuje ona dzieje dwóch apostołów - świętych Piotra i Pawła. Badania wykazują jednomyślnie, że jej autorem jest św. Łukasz Ewangelista, uczeń św. Pawła. Dzieje Apostolskie powstały ok. 70 r.n.e, prawdopodobnie w Rzymie. Mówią one o czasach po wniebowstąpieniu Jezusa, ukazując działalność ewangelizacyjną i misyjną Apostołów (Dz zawierają przemowy m.in. Piotra, Pawła, Jakuba, Szczepana), prześladowania chrześcijan i życie pierwotnej wspólnoty Kościoła.

Gli Atti degli Apostoli costituiscono il quinto libro del Nuovo Testamento e sono la continuazione del Vangelo secondo Luca. Si distinguono nettamente dai Vangeli, dalle lettere e dall'Apocalisse di Giovanni, in quanto offrono un panorama storico delle origini della chiesa primitiva e la descrizione dell'attività degli apostoli, dalla resurrezione di Gesù Cristo all'arrivo a Roma di Paolo di Tarso. Il periodo di tempo è abbastanza preciso: si tratta degli anni fra il 30 ed il 63 d.C.
