Boing (IPA: ) is an onomatopoeia used when something s off of something else, usually the floor. It implies usage of a spring or springiness. Boing is also a sound commonly used in cartoons when something:BouncesSprings off of somethingMakes a springy movement in resistance to another objectSomeone/something is hit by a usually falling object, causing the target to vibrate and/or resonate with a "boioioioioing" type of noise.
