Black Lake, Louisiana

An apparent community named Black Lake is sometimes cited as the place for the shootout that killed the legendary bandits Bonnie and Clyde at Driskill Mountain near Saline, Louisiana on 1934-05-23. The reference may be near the Black Lake School in Bienville Parish, Louisiana appearing on the National Mapping Information site.
