Black Holes and Revelations is the fourth studio album by the English rock band Muse, released on 3 July 2006. Recording was split between New York and France, and it was the first time Muse had taken a more active role in the album's production. The album was a change in style from Muse's previous albums, and the band cited influences that included Depeche Mode, Millionaire, Lightning Bolt, Sly and the Family Stone, and music from southern Italy.

Black Holes and Revelations (dt. Schwarze Löcher und Offenbarungen) ist der Titel des am 2. Juli 2006 über das bandeigene Label veröffentlichten vierten Studioalbums der Band Muse. Das Album wurde - wie auch bereits der Vorgänger Absolution – von Rich Costey (u.a. Franz Ferdinand) produziert und von Warner Music vertrieben. Für das Artwork wurde der Künstler Storm Thorgerson verpflichtet, der für seine Arbeiten für Pink Floyd und Led Zeppelin bekannt ist. Das Artwork zeigt vier Männer, die in einer Marslandschaft an einem Tisch sitzen.

L'album est sorti tout d'abord au Japon le 28 juin 2006 puis en Allemagne le 30 juin, avant d'être distribué dans le reste du monde le 3 juillet. L'Amérique du nord a dû patienter jusqu'au 11 juillet 2006 pour découvrir cet album. Au Royaume-Uni l'album a été certifié double disque de platine.
