Bil

This article refers to an airport in Billings, Montana. For the Logan airport in Massachusetts (Boston area), see Logan International Airport Billings Logan International Airport (Class C Airspace) is a commercial airport in the city of Billings, Montana USA. The airport serves residents of the greater Billings Metro area as well as residents throughout South Central Montana, eastern Montana and northern Wyoming. The airport is located two miles (3.2 km) north of downtown Billings.

For other uses, see Bil In Norse mythology, Vidfinn was the father of Hjúki and Bil, a brother and sister (respectively) who according to Gylfaginning were taken up from the earth by the moon as they were fetching water from the well called Byrgir, bearing on their shoulders the cask called Saegr and the pole called Simul. They now follow him on his nocturnal journey, "as may be seen from the earth". Later in Gylfaginning, Snorri reckons Bil among the Ásynjur along with Sól. The moon is personified as Mani.

Bil war in der nordischen Mythologie Tochter des Wildfinnr und Schwester des Hiuki.Der Mondgott Mani holte Bil, zusammen mit ihrem Bruder Hiuki, als beide nach Wasser zu dem Brunnen Byrgir gegangen waren und den schweren Eimer auf ihren Schultern trugen, aus Mitleid zu sich, wo man sie, wie die Sage berichtet, noch von der Erde aus mit ihrer Eimerstange und dem Eimer sehen kann.
