Bhutan (Dzongkha: , tr ʼbrug-yul, "Druk Yul"; Devanagari भूटान, Bhūṭān), officially the Kingdom of Bhutan, is a landlocked state in South Asia, located at the eastern end of the Himalayas and bordered to the south, east and west by the Republic of India and to the north by the People's Republic of China. Bhutan is separated from the nearby country of Nepal to the west by the Indian state of Sikkim, and from Bangladesh to the south by the Indian states of Assam and West Bengal.

Le Bhoutan (En Dzongkha, འབྲུག་ཡུལ་, Druk Yul) est un pays d'Asie du Sud sans accès à la mer. Il est situé dans l'est de la chaîne de l'Himalaya, enclavé entre l'Inde au sud, à l'est et à l'ouest et la Chine (Région autonome du Tibet) au nord. Il a une superficie de km², à peu près équivalente à celle de la Suisse. Il est situé entre les latitudes 26° 45' 0 Nord et 28° 10' 0 Nord et entre les longitudes 88° 45' 0 Est et 92° 10' 0 Est. Il mesure environ 300 kilomètres dans sa plus grande longueur est-ouest, et seulement 170 kilomètres dans le sens nord-sud. Il possède kilomètres de frontières terrestres avec ses voisins, 470 km avec la Chine et 605 km avec l'Inde.

Bhutan, formellt Konungariket Bhutan, är ett kungadöme i södra Asien som gränsar till Kina i norr och Indien i syd. Det inhemska namnet på landet är Druk Yul (uttalat dro y) vilket betyder "Drakens land"; landet kallas också Druk Tsendhen, "Åskdrakens land".
