Belchite
Belchite is a village in the province of Zaragoza, Spain, about 40 km southeast of Zaragoza. It is the capital of Campo de Belchite comarca and is located in a plain surrounded by low hills, the highest of which is Lobo. The area around Belchite is one of the most arid places of Aragon.

Belchite
Belchite ist eine Stadt in der spanischen Provinz Saragossa. Während des Spanischen Bürgerkriegs fand bei Belchite eine Schlacht statt. Dabei wurde die Stadt beinahe völlig zerstört. Die Ruinen der alten Stadt sind heute sowohl eine Sehenswürdigkeit des Ortes als auch ein Denkmal des Krieges. Sie dienten bei den Filmen Pans Labyrinth und Die Abenteuer des Baron Münchhausen als Filmkulisse.

Belchite
Belchite ha dato il nome alla comarca del Campo de Belchite, della quale è il capoluogo.
Fu distrutto durante la Guerra Civile Spagnola, in un assedio iniziato il 22 agosto 1937 e finito il 5 settembre 1937. Dopo la guerra, il regime franchista costruì una città nuova accanto alle rovine della vecchia, preservando le rovine come monumento all'"eroismo" dell'assedio.
