Beirut International Airport

Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (formerly Chaldea Airport) (Arabic: مطار بيروت رفيق الحريري الدولي) located 9 km (5.6 mi) from the city centre in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon and is the only operational commercial airport in the country. It is the hub for Lebanon's national carrier, Middle East Airlines (more commonly known as MEA). It is also the hub for the currently grounded cargo carrier Trans Mediterranean Airways (more commonly known as TMA Cargo), as well as the new start-up charter airline, MenaJet.

נמל התעופה הבינלאומי רפיק אל-חרירי (ערבית مطار رفيق الحريري الدولي) ממוקם בביירות, בירת לבנון, והוא נמל התעופה המסחרי הפעיל היחיד במדינה. זהו השדה המרכזי של חברת התעופה הלאומית של לבנון, מידל איסט איירליינס (MEA), וכן של חברת התעופה למטען (המקורקעת כיום), טראנס מדיטרניאן אירווייס (TMA קארגו) ושל חברת השכר מנאג'ט (MenaJet).במקור היה שמו של השדה נמל התעופה הבינלאומי ביירות, אך הוא שונה ב-22 ביוני 2005, לזכר ראש ממשלת לבנון לשעבר רפיק אל-חרירי, שנהרג בהתנקשות בביירות ב-14 בפברואר 2005.
