Bass yabby

The Bass yabby (Trypaea australiensis) is a common species of Thalassinidea (mud shrimp) in south-eastern Australia , the only species in the genus Trypaea .The Bass yabby is a popular live or frozen bait used for catching bass fish by Australians, and is widely used as a bait for bream in Port Phillip Bay, Victoria.
