Barry Sonnenfeld

American film maker Barry Sonnenfeld (born New York City, April 1 1953) worked as cinematographer for the Coen Brothers, then later he directed and produced big budget films such as Men in Black. On the 20 April 2007 episode of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," Barry Sonnenfeld said that, when he directs, he sits on a saddle. He also admits to vomiting at least once during shooting of his films.

Barry Sonnenfeld (* 1. April 1953 in New York) ist ein US-amerikanischer Kameramann und Filmregisseur.Nach seinem Abschluss 1978 an der New York University of Film School arbeitete Barry Sonnenfeld zunächst im Pornofilm. Seit 1984 arbeitet er mit den Coen Brothers zusammen und war Kameramann für ihre Filme Blood Simple, Arizona Junior und Miller's Crossing. 1991 debütierte er mit Die Addams Family als Regisseur. Sein bislang größter Erfolg war Men in Black.

Barry Sonnenfeld (New York, 1 aprile 1953) è un regista, direttore della fotografia, attore e produttore cinematografico statunitense di origini ebree.Esordisce curando la fotografia dei primi film dei fratelli Coen, e debutta come regista cinematografico nel 1991 con il film La famiglia Addams, in seguito dirige John Travolta in Get Shorty e Will Smith nei campioni d'incassi Men in Black e Men in Black II, ma anche nel flop Wild Wild West.
