Barrancos

Barrancos (pron. ) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 168.3 km² and a total population of 1,825 inhabitants.The municipality is composed of 1 parish, being one of the six Portuguese municipalities composed of only one parish, and is located in the District of Beja.Among its economic activities are agriculture and livestock rising, being a production center for ham made of the Iberian Pig (also known as Porco Alentejano).
