Barock

In the arts, the Baroque was a Western cultural epoch, commencing roughly at the turn of the 17th century in Rome, that was exemplified by drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur in sculpture, painting, literature, dance, and music.. In music, the term 'Baroque' applies to the final period of dominance of imitative counterpoint, where different voices and instruments echo each other but at different pitches, sometimes inverting the echo, and even reversing thematic material.

Le baroque est un style qui naît en Italie à Rome, Mantoue, Venise et Florence à la charnière des et se répand rapidement dans la plupart des pays d’Europe. Il touche tous les domaines artistiques, sculpture, peinture, littérature, architecture et musique et se caractérise par l’exagération du mouvement, la surcharge décorative, les effets dramatiques, la tension, l’exubérance et de la grandeur parfois pompeuse.

Als Zeitalter des Barock wird die Stilepoche zwischen Renaissance und Klassizismus bezeichnet, die etwa von 1575 bis 1770 währte. Kunstgeschichtlich wird sie in Frühbarock (ca. 1600–1650), Hochbarock (ca. 1650–1720) und Spätbarock oder Rokoko (ca. 1720-1770) unterteilt. Als Kunstform des Absolutismus und der Gegenreformation ist der Barock durch üppige Prachtentfaltung gekennzeichnet. Von Italien ausgehend, verbreitete er sich zunächst in den katholischen Ländern Europas, bevor er sich in abgewandelter Form auch in protestantischen Gegenden durchsetzte.

Barok (z por. barocco - "perła o nieregularnym kształcie", lub z fr. baroque - "bogactwo ozdób") główny kierunek w kulturze środkowo i zachodnioeuropejskiej, którego trwanie datuje się na zakres czasowy: od końca XVI wieku do pierwszej połowy XVIII wieku. Barok obejmował wszystkie przejawy działalności literackiej i artystycznej, a także filozofię i architekturę. U jego podstaw leżał sprzeciw wobec renesansowego klasycyzmu, głęboka religijność, mistycyzm i egzystencjalny niepokój.

Баро́кко ( — «странный», «причудливый»; — «жемчужина неправильной формы»; существуют и другие предположения о происхождении этого слова) — характеристика европейской культуры XVII—XVIII веков, центром которой была Франция. Стиль барокко появился в XVI—XVII веках в итальянских городах: Риме, Мантуе, Венеции, Флоренции. Именно эпоху барокко принято считать началом триумфального шествия «Западной цивилизации». Именно под влиянием идей барокко Пётр I заставил своими реформами Россию отказаться от своей самобытности и идеи «Москва — третий Рим» в пользу приобщения к семье европейских народов.
