Barbeuia madagascariensis
Barbeuia madagascariensis ist die einzige Pflanzenart der einzigen Gattung Barbeuia der Familie der Barbeuiaceae. Bei manchen Autoren ist diese Art auch in die Familie der Phytolaccaceae eingeordnet. Aber in beiden Fällen steht sie innerhalb der Ordnung der Nelkenartigen (Caryophyllales).

La famille des Barbeuiaceae est une petite famille de plantes dicotylédones créée pour une seule espèce de liane endémique de Madagascar (Barbeuia madascariensis).

Barbeuiaceae
Barbeuiaceae is een botanische naam, voor een familie van tweezaadlobbige planten. Een familie onder deze naam wordt zelden erkend door systemen voor plantentaxonomie, maar wel door het APG II systeem (2003).
Het gaat dan om een heel kleine familie van lianen die voorkomen op Madagaskar. De traditionele plaatsing van de betreffende planten is in de familie Phytolaccaceae.

Barbeuiaceae
Barbeuiaceae é uma família de plantas angiospérmicas (plantas com flor - divisão Magnoliophyta), pertencente à ordem Caryophyllales.
A ordem à qual pertence esta família está por sua vez incluida na classe Magnoliopsida (Dicotiledóneas): desenvolvem portanto embriões com dois ou mais cotilédones.
O Sistema APG II de 2003, por exemplo, reconhece esta família e a ciscunscreve na ordem Caryophyllales, clado Núcleo eudicotiledôneas. Isto representou uma mudança do Sistema APG, de 1998, que não reconheceu Barbeuiaceae como uma família.
