For example, in a medical chart, you might see scrawled "BP90/60 T98.6 Ht60/reg R15", which is short hand signifying that the blood pressure is 90/60 mm Hg, the temperature (T) is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit, the heart rate (Ht) is 60 beats/min and regular, and the respirations ® 15/min. (This would be entirely normal for an adult or older child).
