Azna

Azna is a city in the Lorestān Province  in western Iran. It is located in the Zagros Mountains. The population was estimated to number 49,150 residents in 2006. It currently serves as a refuge camp for the Faili Kurds.Novus Spiritus Goddess - Mother Azna.

Die Azna sind ein Segment der Hausa-Gesellschaft Nordnigerias und Nigers, das andere sind die „Hausa“ im eigentlichen Sinn. Die Bezeichnung Maguzawa betrifft das gleiche Gesellschaftssegment, nur drückt sie die größere Akzeptanz der Muslime in Bezug auf anerkannte „Schutzbefohlene“ (ahl al-dhimma) aus.
