August Burns Red

August Burns Red are a Christian Technical Metalcore group from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The band was formed from a group of Christians who met in their local church. The band formed in March of 2003 and quickly started playing shows for their church and local areas around Lancaster. In 2004, the band was signed to CI Records and released an EP called Looks Fragile After All. After about another year of playing shows, the band was signed to the christian record label Solid State Records in 2005 and released Thrill Seeker on November 8th of that year. Having completed recording their latest album, "Messengers", they are currently on their first headlining tour. Messengers was released on June 19, 2007.
