AV receiver
AV receivers or audio-video receivers are one of the many consumer electronics components typically found within a home theatre system. Their primary purpose is to amplify sound from a multitude of possible audio sources as well as route video signals to your TV from various sources. The user may program and configure a unit to take inputs from devices such as DVD players, VCRs etc. and easily select which source he or she wants to route to their TV and have sound output for.

Audio/Visual
Audio/Visual is a greatest hits compilation released by Christian rock band Bleach. It was released in October 2005 by Tooth & Nail Records and includes two new songs, "Good to be Alive" and "Must Be Divine". Bleach's final show, performed on August 29, 2004 in Nashville, Tennessee, is included on a bonus DVD.

AV-Receiver
AV-Receiver (auch A/V-Receiver) sind Mehrkanal-HiFi-Verstärker mit integriertem Radioempfänger und der Möglichkeit zwischen mehreren Audio- und Video-Quellen (deswegen A/V) umzuschalten. AV-Receiver sind außerdem Raumklang-tauglich und haben dementsprechend mehrere Endstufen und Dolby Digital- oder DTS-Decoder.
