Association for India's Development

The Association for India's Development, Inc. (AID) is a voluntary non-profit organization, founded in 1991, committed to promoting sustainable, equitable and just development in India, by working with grassroots organizations in India. AID supports and initiates activities in various interconnected aspects of society including education, labor rights, natural resources, health, women's empowerment and the general concept of social justice. Unlike similar NGOs, AID has been outspoken in its criticism of right-wing organisations in India.
