n. Once one of the seven Noble Elven Houses, the Ashrim were masters of elemental magic, especially of wind and water. The "sea elves" as they were called were traders and raiders and the most adept sailors on the open seas. House Ashrim was destroyed by the Faendryl in an act of retaliation for the death of Princess Chesylcha, though proof of Ashrim guilt is far from conclusive.
