Asashoryu

, born as Dolgorsuren Dagvadorj (Долгорсүрэн Дагвадорж) on September 27, 1980, in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, is the first sumo wrestler (rikishi) from Mongolia to reach the rank of yokozuna, the highest sumo rank. He is one of the most successful sumo wrestlers in history. In August 2007, he also became the first yokozuna in history to be suspended from competition.
