Arunachal Pradesh

Arunachal Pradesh ( Aruṇācal Pradeś) is the eastern-most state on India's north-east frontier. Itanagar is the capital of the state. The state is part of India, although China still holds a territorial claim over portions of the state. Arunachal Pradesh is next to the state of Assam to the south and Nagaland is to the south east. Myanmar lies towards the eastern side of the state, Bhutan towards the west, while the Line of Actual Control separates it from China to the north.

L'Arunachal Pradesh (Hindi: अरुणाचल प्रदेश Aruṇācal Pradeś) est un État indien de l'extrême nord-est. Il a une frontière internationale de avec le Bhoutan à l'ouest, de au nord avec la Chine et de à l'est avec la Birmanie. Il s'étend des pics enneigés de l'Himalaya au nord jusqu'à la vallée du Brahmapoutre au sud. C'est le plus grand État du nord-est, plus grand que l'Assam qui est cependant plus peuplé.

Arunachal Pradesh (Hindi: अरुणाचल प्रदेश, Aruṇācal Pradeś [] „Land des Sonnenaufgangs“) ist ein indischer Bundesstaat mit einer Fläche von 83.743 km² und 1.091.117 Einwohnern (Stand 2001). Die Hauptstadt ist Itanagar. Es handelt sich um umstrittenes Territorium, das Gebiet wird von China beansprucht.
