Aruba

Aruba is a -long island of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, north of the Paraguaná Peninsula, Falcón State, Venezuela. It is in the Realm of Kingdom of the Netherlands, which consists of a European part (The Netherlands) and a Caribbean-American part (Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles). Unlike much of the Caribbean-American region, Aruba has a dry climate and an arid, cactus-strewn landscape. This climate has helped tourism as visitors to the island can reliably expect warm sunny weather. It has a land area of and lies outside the hurricane belt.

Aruba est une île de la mer des Caraïbes, faisant partie des petites Antilles et située au large des côtes du Venezuela. Aruba forme un État du Royaume des Pays-Bas à part entière depuis que l'île s'est séparée des Antilles néerlandaises en 1986.

Aruba ist eine der drei ABC-Inseln in der südlichen Karibik, 25 Kilometer nördlich von Venezuela gelegen. Sie ist eine der drei gleichberechtigten Königreichsteile des Königreiches der Niederlande (die anderen sind die Niederländischen Antillen und die eigentlichen Niederlande in Europa). Wie die anderen Landesteile hat auch Aruba eine eigene Verfassung und Regierung. Sie genießt vollkommene innere Autonomie.

Aruba – jedna z wysp wulkanicznego archipelagu Małych Antyli, zamykającego od wschodu Morze Karaibskie. Obejmuje ona powierzchnię 180 km² i zamieszkiwana jest przez 68 tys. osób, głównie pochodzenia hiszpańskiego, holenderskiego i afrykańskiego. Mieszkańcy używają języka niderlandzkiego oraz lokalnej mieszanki kilku języków zwanej papiamento. W użyciu jest także język hiszpański.

Aruba è un'isola situata nel Mare Caraibico, a nord del Venezuela. Al contrario di molte altre isole dei Caraibi, Aruba è un'isola di scarsi rilievi e scarsa vegetazione, con un clima secco, caratteristica questa che ha favorito lo sviluppo del turismo. L'isola (180 km², 71.218 abitanti nel luglio 2004) è una dipendenza  olandese (capoluogo Oranjestad) nell'America centrale caraibica.
