Arianrhod
Arianrhod is a figure in Welsh mythology who plays her most important role in the Fourth Branch of the Mabinogi. She is the daughter of Dôn and the sister of Gwydion and Gilfaethwy; the Welsh Triads give her father as Beli Mawr. In the Mabinogi her uncle Math ap Mathonwy is the King of Gwynedd, and during the course of the story she gives birth to two sons, Dylan Ail Don and Lleu Llaw Gyffes, through magical means.

Arianrhod
Arianrhod oder Aranrod (walisisch arian (silbern) und rhawd (Rad)) ist eine Figur in der keltischen (walisischen) Mythologie. Sie ist eine Tochter der Don und Mutter des Llew sowie des Dylan Eil Ton. Ihre Brüder oder Vettern sind Gilfaethwy und Gwydyon. Es wird vermutet, dass sie auf eine alte keltische Gottheit zurückzuführen ist. Ihr Spinnrad (oder auch ihr Schloss) ist Caer Arianrohd, die Nördliche Krone.

Arianrhod

Przebywała ona na dworze króla o imieniu Math ap Mathonwy, który musiał opierać swoje stopy na kolanie dziewicy, o ile nie prowadził wojny - w przeciwnym razie chciał ją rozpocząć. Gdy jedna z jego dziewic, Goewin, została zgwałcona przez Gilfaethwy'ego, została zastąpiona przez siostrę gwałciciela, Arianrhod, która natychmiast urodziła Dylana i kropelkę.
