Arab-African International Bank
The AAIB is a pan-Arab consortium incorporated in 1964 as a self-governing
autonomous entity between the Ministry of Finance of Kuwait and the Central
Bank of Egypt; each of which as co-founders hold 49.37% of the Bank's
shares. A New York branch of the AAIB was established in 1981 to
facilitate the financing of trade between North America and the Middle
East. AAIB headquarters are in Cairo.
