Ar-Sakalthôr
Ar-Sakalthôr (2876 - 3102 S.E. , regno 3033 - 3102 S.E.) è un personaggio di Arda, l'universo immaginario fantasy creato dallo scrittore inglese J.R.R. Tolkien. Fu il ventiduesimo re di Númenor. Seguì l'ormai consolidata tradizione reale di affermarsi avverso ai Valar, e anch'egli non prese un nome in Quenya. Succeduto al padre, Ar-Zimrathôn, regnò su Númenor per sessantanove anni, e lasciò in eredità il trono al figlio, Ar-Gimilzôr. La versione quenya corrispondente del suo nome è Tar-Falassion, ed entrambi i nomi hanno il significato di "Figlio della Riva".

Ar-Sakalthôr
Twenty-second Ruler of Númenor; named in Quenya Tar-Falassion. Father of Ar-Gimilzôr.
The twenty-second ruler of Númenor.
The son and heir of Ar-Zimrathôn of Númenor. He followed the tradition of his grandfather Ar-Adûnakhôr, and took his King-name in the Adûnaic tongue (the Elvish equivalent is recorded as Tar-Falassion).
Ar-Sakalthôr ruled Númenor for sixty-nine years. He was succeeded by his son, who took the Sceptre as King Ar-Gimilzôr.
