Apache Software License

The Apache License (Apache Software License previous to version 2.0) is a free software license authored by the Apache Software Foundation (ASF). The Apache License (versions 1.0, 1.1, and 2.0) requires preservation of the copyright notice and disclaimer, but it is not a copyleft license — it allows use of the source code for the development of both  free/open source and proprietary/closed source software.

Die Apache-Lizenz ist die Freie-Software-Lizenz der Apache Software Foundation. Die aktuelle Version 2.0 wurde im Januar 2004 veröffentlicht. Sie ist gegenüber der vorherigen Version 1.1 stark erweitert. Auf Grund ihres Umfangs wird in den Quelltexten der einzelnen Apache-Projekte nicht mehr der komplette Text, sondern lediglich ein Verweis auf die Originallizenz eingefügt. Die Apache-Lizenz wird von der Free Software Foundation als Lizenz für freie Software anerkannt und ist zu der GNU General Public License Version 3 kompatibel.

Apache License (przed wersją 2.0 Apache Software License - ASL) jest licencją wolnego oprogramowania autorstwa Apache Software Foundation. Licencja ta dopuszcza użycie kodu źródłowego zarówno na potrzeby wolnego oprogramowania, jak i zamkniętego oprogramowania komercyjnego. Pod tą licencją rozpowszechniane jest oprogramowanie tworzone przez Apache Software Foundation.

A Licença Apache (Apache License em inglês) é uma licença para software livre (open source) de autoria da Apache Software Foundation (ASF). Todo software produzido pela ASF ou qualquer um dos seus projetos e sub-projetos é licenciado de acordo com os termos da licença Apache. Alguns projetos não pertencentes à ASF também utilizam esta licença. A licença Apache (versões 1.0, 1.1 e 2.0) exige a inclusão do aviso de copyright e disclaimer, mas não é uma licença copyleft - ela permite o uso e distribuição do código fonte tanto no software open source como no proprietário.
