Antagonism (phytopathology)
In phytopathology, antagonism refers to the suppression or interference with the normal growth of a plant pathogen by another microorganism, such as bacteria or fungi.Antagonistic organisms are often introduced as biocontrols for plant diseases, either as concentrated inoculants or through the use of compost teas.
