Angyar

The Angyar (''lords'') are one of the intelligent species on Rocannon's World. They are beautiful, tall and dark-skinned, but have fair hair. Picture them as proud warriors -- with gleaming swords, stone castles and their winged cat-beasts, the windsteed. The Angyar and the Olgyior are not strictly speaking two species, but merely two social castes, both of the Liuar species.
