Ånge Municipality is a Swedish municipality in Västernorrland County, northern Sweden. Its seat is located in Ånge (pop. 3,000). The municipal slogan is Sweden's geographical center. It was in 1947 measured by the Royal Institute of Technology to be situated by the lake Munkbysjön (Lake Munkby), in the municipality's eastern parts.Ånge is a railway junction where the northern main line railway (Norra Stambanan) connected with the central main line railway (Mittbanan).
