Andrews Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base near Washington, DC and the home base of the U.S. presidential aircraft, Air Force One.The host unit is the 316th Wing, composed of an operations group and a mission support group.Andrews' current mission is that of emergency reaction and contingency response capabilities critical to national security, and support for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces.

Die Andrews Air Force Base ist ein Stützpunkt der US-amerikanischen Luftstreitkräfte (United States Air Force) in Maryland, USA, rund 15 km südöstlich von Washington D. C.Es ist der Regierungsflughafen der US-Hauptstadt. Von hier aus werden die Flüge des US-Präsidenten mit der Air Force One sowie anderer Regierungsmitglieder und ausländischer Staatsgäste durchgeführt. Andrews AFB gehört zum Verantwortungsbereich des Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) und hat zwei Start- und Landebahnen: 01R/19L (2975 m) und 01L/19R (2835 m). Sie beherbergt neben der für die Air Force One zuständigen 89th Airlift Wing verschiedene Behörden der Luftwaffe und Einheiten der Reservestreitkräfte (Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command) und wird auch von der US Navy genutzt. Ende 2006 waren rund 5500 Soldaten hier stationiert.

La Base Andrews dell'Aeronautica militare degli Stati Uniti (Andrews Air Force Base) è la base nei pressi di Washington (Distretto di Columbia) che ospita gli aeroplani ufficiali del presidente degli Stati Uniti, che vanno sotto il nome di Air Force One. Originariamente conosciuta come Camp Springs Army Air Base, la base fu ridenominata Campo Andrews nel 1945 dopo che Frank Maxwell Andrews, una figura-chiave nello sviluppo dell'Aeronautica militare degli Stati Uniti, morì in un incidente aereo nel 1943.
