Amphinome

Amphinome is the name of three characters in Greek mythology1. Amphinome the Nereid2. Amphinome, wife of Aeson and mother to Jason and Promachus. She and her husband were persecuted by king Pelias of Iolcus. Amphinome killed herself with a sword. As she lay dying she pronounced a curse against the king. Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History
