American Football

American football, known in the United States simply as football is a competitive team sport known for its physical roughness despite being a highly strategic game. The object of the game is to score points by advancing the pointed-oval shaped ball into the opposing team's end zone. The ball can be advanced by carrying it (a running play) or by throwing it to a teammate (a passing play). Points can be scored in a variety of ways, including carrying the ball over the goal line, throwing the ball to another player past the goal line, tackling an opposing ball carrier in his own end zone (a safety), or kicking it through the goal posts on the opposing side. The winner is the team with the most points when the time expires and the last play ends.

Le football américain est un sport collectif connu pour mélanger des stratégies complexes et un jeu physique intense. Le but du jeu est de marquer des points en portant un ballon ovale jusqu'à une zone de but nommée adverse au bout du terrain. Le ballon peut être avancé en le portant (une course) ou en le lançant à un coéquipier (une passe). Les points peuvent être marqués de différentes façons comme en franchissant la ligne de but avec le ballon, en lançant la balle à un autre joueur situé de l'autre côté de la ligne de but, en plaquant un joueur adverse ayant le ballon dans sa propre zone de but ou en tirant au pied le ballon entre les poteaux du but adverses. Le vainqueur est l'équipe ayant marqué le plus de points à la fin du match.

American Football (englisch für Amerikanischer Fußball) ist eine vor allem in den Vereinigten Staaten außerordentlich populäre Sportart, bei der zwei Mannschaften mit je elf Spielern versuchen, den Spielball in der Form eines verlängerten Rotationsellipsoids in die gegnerische Endzone zu bringen. Die Mannschaft im Ballbesitz (Offense) versucht dabei, Raumgewinn zu erzielen und eine bessere Feldposition zu erreichen. Sie kann den Ball werfen (passing the ball) oder tragen (running/rushing the ball). Die verteidigende Mannschaft (Defense) versucht, dies zu verhindern und selbst in Ballbesitz zu kommen.

Najpopularniejszy sport w Stanach Zjednoczonych.Celem gry jest zdobycie w ustalonym czasie większej liczby punktów od drużyny przeciwnej.Piłkę można przemieszczać niosąc ją, rzucając lub przekazując z rąk do rąk między zawodnikami, co jednoznacznie oznacza niepoprawność nazwy tego sportu.W wielu krajach Europy i Afryki obowiązują te same zasady gry w football.Główną zasadą jest rzucanie piłki ręką.Punkty zdobywa się na wiele sposobów, na przykład przez przeniesienie piłki przez linię punktową (goal line), rzucenie piłki do zawodnika stojącego za tą linią - czyli w polu punktowym (end zone) - lub przez kop na bramkę przeciwnika (field goal). Wygrywa drużyna z większą liczbą punktów w momencie, gdy upływa czas meczu i kończy się ostatnia akcja. W razie remisu w czasie regulaminowym stosuje się dogrywki z zasadą "nagłej śmierci" - odpowiednik "złotego gola" w piłce nożnej. Niekiedy mecz może zakończyć się remisem, jeśli dogrywka nie wyłoni zwycięzcy.

Il football americano è uno sport di squadra dai connotati atletici quanto mai accentuati e di grande spettacolarità, praticata specialmente negli Stati Uniti dove, dalla fine del 1800, è una delle attività agonistiche più popolari e seguite; giocandosi con una palla di forma ovale, ha analogie con il rugby solo per i modi in cui si segnano punti, ma lo sviluppo del gioco è totalmente diverso. La principale differenza è che il pallone può essere passato anche in avanti (sia pure una sola volta nell'azione in corso) a un giocatore attivo in qualsiasi parte del campo di gioco.
