American Expeditionary Force

The American Expeditionary Forces or AEF was the United States military force sent to Europe in World War I.The AEF fought alongside allied forces against imperial German forces. The AEF helped the French defend the Western Front during the Aisne Offensive in May 1918, and fought its major action in the Meuse-Argonne offensive in the fall of 1918.
