Le championnat ABA réfère à deux championnats américains de basket-ball. La première ABA fut fondée en 1967 avant de fusionner durant l'été 1976 avec la ligue concurrente NBA. La American Basketball Asociation, popularmente conocida como ABA, fue una liga de baloncesto creada en 1967 en directa competencia con la NBA en los Estados Unidos. Por ella pasaron grandes figuras del baloncesto norteamericano, hasta su disolución, en 1976.
