American Automobile Association
AAA (pronounced "triple A"), formerly known as the American Automobile Association, is a federation of 51 independently operated motor clubs throughout North America. AAA is a not-for-profit member service organization with more than 51 million members. AAA provides services to its members such as travel, automotive, insurance, financial, and discounts. Its national headquarters are in Heathrow, Florida.

L'Association américaine des automobilistes (AAA ou en anglais : American Automobile Association) est une association à but non lucratif représentant les automobilistes, mais est aussi un groupe de pression et d'organisation de services. Le siège social est situé à Heathrow, en Floride.

Champ Car
Champ Car - nazwa odnosząca się do serii wyścigowej samochodów o otwartym nadwoziu w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Od 2004 roku tożsama z mistrzostwami Bridgestone presents Champ Car World Series powered by Ford.
Pierwsze mistrzostwa samochodowe w Stanach Zjednoczonych zorganizowano w 1902 roku, lecz oficjalna klasyfikacja została wprowadzona dopiero w 1919 roku, gdy zarządzanie serią przejął American Automobile Association (AAA). Równocześnie - w formie retrospekcji - przyznano tytuły mistrzowskie za wszystkie dotychczas rozegrane sezony. W 1951 roku ponownie obliczono wyniki i w efekcie dwa tytuły mistrzowskie zostały przyznane innym kierowcom (dotyczyło to sezonów 1909 i 1920).
