Amazon Region of Colombia
The Amazonía Region is a region in southern Colombia. It is comprised of the departments of Amazonas, Caquetá, Putumayo, Guainía, Putumayo and Vaupés. The region is marked by its unique jungles part of the Amazon rainforest. It covers an extension of 403,000 km². 35% of the Colombian total territory.
