Always (song)
"Always" is a popular song written by Irving Berlin in 1925, as a wedding gift for his wife Ellin McKay, whom he married in 1926, and to whom he presented the substantial royalties. In 1942 it was used as the theme music for the film The Pride of the Yankees. Hit versions have been recorded by such diverse artists as Frank SinatraPatsy ClineBillie HolidayBilly CorganGuy LombardoLeonard CohenPhil Collins and The Ink Spots.
