The Alps (; ; ; ; ; ) is one of the great mountain range systems of Europe, stretching from Austria and Slovenia in the east through Italy, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, France and Monaco in the west.

Die Alpen sind das höchste Gebirge im Inneren Europas. Es erstreckt sich in einem 1.200 Kilometer langen und zwischen 150 und 250 Kilometer breiten Bogen vom Ligurischen Meer bis zum  Pannonischen Becken.

Der Name Alpen bezeichnet folgende Gebirge:

Alps est la station de sports d'hiver la plus au nord de la Corée du Sud. La température y est en moyenne de 5 degrés inférieure à celle des autres stations du pays et il y neige davantage. Le ski nocturne y est facilité en raison de faibles écarts de température entre le jour et la nuit.

Les Alpes sont une chaîne de montagnes qui s'étend en Europe, recouvrant la frontière nord de l'Italie, le sud-est de la France, Monaco, la Suisse, le Liechtenstein, l'Autriche, le sud de l'Allemagne et la Slovénie.

Alpy (fr. Alpes, niem. Alpen, wł. Alpi, słoweń. Alpe) - najwyższy łańcuch górski Europy, ciągnący się łukiem od wybrzeża Morza Śródziemnego po dolinę Dunaju w okolicach Wiednia. Jego długość wynosi około 1200 km, a szerokość od 150 do 250km. Najwyższym szczytem Alp, a zarazem całej Europy, jest położony na granicy francusko-włoskiej Mont Blanc (wł. Monte Bianco), choć główny wierzchołek znajduje się po stronie francuskiej. Wznosi się na wysokość 4810,90 m n.p.m.. Alpy położone są na terytorium kilku państw europejskich: od wschodu Słowenia, Austria, Niemcy, Liechtenstein, Włochy, Szwajcaria, Francja i Monako. Niektóre z nich, w których Alpy zajmują znaczącą część terytorium nazywane są często alpejskimi.
