Alom-begwi-no-sis

[Native American] In Abenaki myth, an aquatic dwarfish race of men that can increase or decrease body size at will. They own a magical pot which can transform a few kernels of maize into a huge quantity. It is believed that seeing one of the Alom-begwi-no-sis foretells of a death by drowning.
