Alliance for Climate Protection

The Alliance for Climate Protection is an organization in the United States aiming to 'persuade people of the importance, urgency and feasibility of adopting and implementing effective and comprehensive solutions for the climate crisis'. The founder and current chairman of the alliance is former US Vice President Al Gore.

Alliance for Climate Protection är en amerikansk organisation ledd och grundad av Al Gore. De ser som sitt huvudsyfte att förklara kopplingen mellan global uppvärmning och människors agerande. Den är medlem av Save Our Selves, som organiserade Live Earth-konserterna i juli 2007, en del av intäkterna gick till organisationen.

A Szövetség az Éghajlat Védelméért nevu környezetvédelmi szervezetet Al Gore alapította, a Nobel-békedíjért neki járó összeget a szövetségnek utaltatta át. A globális felmelegedési válság egyre nagyobb méreteket ölt. 2030-ra eltunhet az Északi-sark jege teljes mértékben – áll az IPCC legújabb jelentésében. A Save Our Selves egy aktivista csoport (ok a Live Earth koncertsorozat szervezoi is egyben), melynek része a Szövetség az Éghajlat Védelméért szervezet.
