Alias (comics)
Alias was a 2002-2004 comic book created by writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Michael Gaydos, published by Marvel Comics under the Marvel MAX imprint.Alias was written by Bendis and illustrated for most of its run by Michael Gaydos, with covers by David Mack. It ran for 28 issues between the years 2002 and 2004. Characters from the series moved to Brian Michael Bendis' subsequent series The Pulse.The protagonist of Alias is Jessica Jones, a former costumed superhero named Jewel who left that avocation to become a private investigator. The running thread is Jessica's character development, as the layers of her past and personality are revealed to the reader while, simultaneously, she tries to come to terms with them herself.

Alias Enterprises is a US publishing company. Their main divisions are Alias Comics (all-ages comic books) and Cross Culture (Christian comic books). Based in San Diego, California, it was founded in January 2005 by Brett Burner and Mike S. Miller. They publish comics such as Lullaby, The 10th Muse, The Legend of Isis, and Sixgun Samurai.
