Acer Laboratories Incorporated (Acer Labs Inc, ALi) is a major designer and manufacturer of integrated circuits for the personal computer and embedded systems markets. President: Teddy Lu. A subsidiary of the Acer group. Part of ALi was separated as ULi Electronics Inc. since June 2003. ULi was acquired by NVIDIA in 2006 for $52 million .

Ali ibn Abi Talib (‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib) (Thirteenth of Rajab, 24 BH – Twenty-first of Ramadan, 40 AH) (approximately: March 17 599 or 600  - February 28 661) was the cousin, son-in-law and one of the Ahl al-Bayt of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.  Shi'a Muslims glorify him as the first Imam and consider him and his descendants as the rightful successors to Muhammad who are the only legitimate religious and political leaders of the Muslim community and Sunni Muslims revere him as the fourth and final Rightly Guided Caliph, reigning from 656 to 661. This disagreement resulted in the only major split in Islam, into the Sunni and Shi'ite branches.
