Alcan

Alcan is also the name of a French publishing house directed by Félix Alcan.ALCAN (ALaska CANada) is also one of the common names for the Alaska Highway that connects Dawson Creek, British Columbia, with Fairbanks, Alaska.Alcan Inc. is Canada's largest aluminum company and the world's third largest, behind its former parent Alcoa (from which it split in 1928) and Rusal (however Alcan is largest by sales). Rio Tinto and Alcan have reached a friendly takeover deal that would create the world's largest aluminum company, Rio Tinto Alcan; this followed a failed hostile takeover bid by Alcoa.
