Albany County ist ein County im US-Bundesstaat New York. Im Jahr 2000 hatte das County 294.565 Einwohner und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 217 Einwohnern/km². Der Sitz der Countyverwaltung (County Seat) ist in Albany, das auch die Hauptstadt des Bundesstaates New York ist.

Albany County is een county in de staat New York. De stad Albany, die hier ligt, is niet alleen de hoofdstad van de staat maar is ook de hoofdzetel van de county. In 2000 bedroeg de populatie 294.565. De naam komt van de titel Duke of York and Albany, James II van Engeland. De momentele County Executive Michael G. Breslin (Democraat) en de Chair of the Legislature is Charles Houghtailing (Democraat).
