Aki Hakala

Aki-Markus Juhani Hakala (born 28 October 1979 in Espoo) is the drummer of the Finnish band The Rasmus.He joined The Rasmus after the former drummer Janne Heiskanen left the band in 1998, short after the release of Hell of a Tester. The first song he took part in was Last Waltz from the album Into.Aki originally sold band merchandise at their shows and joined the band after "jamming" with the guitarist Pauli Rantasalmi. He says that the only thing he was ever good at was drumming, and he "sucked at everything else", although he has done some acting in the past in Siamin tytöt (a Finnish drama series) and can play the guitar. Before joining The Rasmus, he was a drummer for Killer and Kwan, (he was replaced by Risto).

The Rasmus sind eine finnische Dark-Rock-Band. In Deutschland wurde die Band 2003 mit dem Titel In the Shadows bekannt, obwohl sie schon seit 1994 besteht und in Finnland seit längerem erfolgreich ist.

Aki Markus Hakala (Espoo, 28 oktober 1979) is de Finse drummer van de band The Rasmus. Hij kwam bij de band in 1999, nadat de vorige drummer Janne Heiskanen was opgestapt. Voor hij drummer werd bij de band verkocht Aki merchandise tijdens shows van The Rasmus. Hij zei ooit dat drummen het enige was waar hij goed in was en dat hij "sucked at everything else", alhoewel hij ooit ook geacteerd heeft in "Siamin tytöt" (een Finse dramaserie) en naast drums ook gitaar bespeelt. Voordat hij drummer werd bij The Rasmus, was hij drummer voor Killer en Kwan.
