Aino Aalto (born Aino Mandelin, from 1906 onwards the family was known as Marsio, 25 January 1894 - 13 January 1949) was a Finnish architect and designer. She was born in Helsinki, and completed her school education in 1913 at the Helsingin Suomalainen Tyttökoulu (Helsinki Finnish Girls' School). She began studies in architecture that same year at the Institute of Technology, Helsinki, and qualified as an architect in 1920. That same year she went to work for architect Oiva Kallio in Helsinki. In 1923 she moved to the city of Jyväskylä to work in the office of architect Gunnar A. Wahlroos, but the following year switched to working in the office of architect Alvar Aalto when they got married. The Aaltos spent their honeymoon in northern Italy. It was common at that time for young architects in Scandinavia to travel to Italy to study the vernacular architecture, and it had a profound influence on Scandinavian architecture during the 1920s, including the Aaltos, flourishing in the so-called Nordic Classicism style.

Aino Aalto, född 25 januari 1894 i Helsingfors som Aino Mandelin, från 1906 kallade sig familjen Marsio, död 13 januari 1949, finländsk arkitekt och formgivare. Hon var gift med Alvar Aalto och ritade tillsammans med honom möbler och inredningar, bland annat till Villa Mairea utanför Björneborg. Makarna Aalto startade 1935 inredningsfirman Artek för försäljning av deras möbler, textilier, glas med mera.

Aino Aalto (meisjesnaam Aino Marsio; 1894-1949) was een Finse ontwerpster. Zij trouwde met Alvar Aalto in 1924 en ontwierp samen met hem meubelen. In 1935 stichtten zij Artek, een firma die glas, textiel en meubelen verkocht, momenteel, in 2005, gefuseerd met Iittala.
