Åhus

Åhus is a town in Kristianstad Municipality, Skåne County in southernmost Sweden. The population is 8,984 in the winter (2005) but it triples in the summer due to the tourists, many of whom are from Germany, who come seeking the great beaches and the beautiful nature of the Helgeå and Hanöbukten area.
