Aguardiente/Aguardente
Aguardiente (Spanish) or Aguardente (Portuguese) is the generic name for alcoholic drinks between 29 and 45 percent alcohol, meaning "firewater", or, literally "burning water" (as it "burns" the throat of the drinker).
