Agrigento
Agrigento (Sicilian: Girgenti), is a city on the southern coast of Sicily, Italy, and capital of the province of Agrigento. It is renowned as the site of the ancient Greek city of Akragas (also known as Acragas (Ἀκράγας) in Greek, Agrigentum in Latin and Kirkent or Jirjent in Arabic), one of the leading cities of Magna Graecia during the golden age of Ancient Greece.

Agrigent
Agrigent (italienisch: Agrigento, bis 1927 Girgenti) ist eine Stadt mit Einwohnern (Stand ) an der Südküste Siziliens, 4 km vom Meer entfernt gelegen. Agrigent ist die Hauptstadt der Provinz Agrigent.

Agrigento
Agrigento – miasto na południowym wybrzeżu Sycylii. Starożytne greckie Akragas, później Agrigentum, następnie Girgenti i wreszcie od 1927 roku Agrigento.
Ośrodek handlowy i turystyczny. Zabytki: dobrze zachowane świątynie greckie (VI i V w. p.n.e). Rzymskie grobowce i ruiny domów (II-I w. p.n.e.). Kościoły (XII-XIV w.) i katedra (XIII-XV w.).
Liczba mieszkańców: około 55 000.
