After the Gold Rush

After the Gold Rush is the third album by Neil Young, and one of four high-profile albums released by each partner of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young in the wake of their chart-topping Déjà Vu album of 1970. It peaked at #8 on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart; two singles taken from the album, "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" and "When You Dance I Can Really Love," made it to #33 and #93 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100.

After the Gold Rush è un album di Neil Young pubblicato nel 1970 successivamente alla sua partecipazione con  David Crosby, Stephen Stills e Graham Nash al concerto di Woodstock.Il gruppo spalla sono i Crazy Horse, con la partecipazione di Greg Reeves al basso, Stills alle voci, Jack Nitzsche e soprattutto di un giovanissimo Nils Lofgren al pianoforte (futuro chitarrista di Bruce Springsteen).After The Gold Rush è l'album che segue il fortunato Deja Vu con i Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young e impose il Neil Young che rimarrà negli anni seguenti nell'immaginario collettivo (anche grazie al successivo album Harvest).
